The functions to be performed in this capacity are carried out under a lessening degree of supervision by senior staff. At this level, the conservation worker enjoys an increasing level of autonomy in carrying out his or her daily job functions.
Students who have achieved this qualification will be able to perform multiple sets of roles and functions in order to assist with the management of a designated conservation area.
Qualifying Individuals will play a supportive role in the day-to-day management of the area and be able to knowledgeably assist senior officials in the implementation of conservation management plans by applying the natural resource guardianship principles.
