Roxanne’s journey is a true reflection of what’s possible with passion, dedication, and the right foundation. During her time at Sondela Academy, Roxanne studied Captive Animal Management, while gaining hands-on experience in professional guiding (FGASA), game ranch management, and hospitality. Her studies went far beyond the classroom—building real-world skills, lifelong connections, and a deep appreciation for wildlife conservation.
After completing her studies, Roxanne took her knowledge into the industry, starting her career at Bothongo Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, where she worked as a guide, assisted with wildlife care, conducted cave tours, and helped connect guests with nature. She also featured in marketing videos and even shared her passion for the industry on Radio 2000.
Today, Roxanne confidently attributes her growth and current position in the field to the strong foundation she received at Sondela Academy—a foundation that gave her confidence, experience, and skills she will carry for life.
